In this course you will learn about acrylic inks and what they are capable of. You will experience their vibrancy and learn the basic techniques. See how they flow through water creating random yet beautiful effects. After learning these skills create two abstract artworks followed by a lovely pear painting and then a fluffy koala. At the end of the course you will have the skills needed to go on to create your own acrylic ink artworks.

Composition is essential for a good painting.  Abstract or realistic, this course will give you a strong idea of how to use composition to create better paintings.  The arrangement of the shapes on the canvas can make your painting a success.  While understanding composition is a challenge, there are easy ways to learn the basic so that you can have successful compositions.  Included are tips on composition that have been tried and proven successful.  Learn about different compositions and try them out yourself. You'll learn the basics of how to paint a vinyl toy. Everything from where to purchase a blank toy, what brushes/paints to use, how to find inspiration, and tips and tricks. This class is geared towards beginners but could also provide useful tips for an advanced painter who wants to learn more about customizing vinyl toys.
