Drawing is an essential skill in various aspects of life and I am not talking only about art. For example, drawing is done to create art, to create plans, to design websites, to describe concepts, to learn a subject, to express feelings, to communicate effectively, to eliminate day to day stress, to just have fun and the list goes on. Good drawing skill is achievable with just 10 minutes of practice daily. When I tell this to people, first question they have is "what should I draw?" If they can't find an answer to this question, they just don't draw anything. So, to answer this question everyday for 30 days, I have created this course. In this course there are 30 lectures and in each lecture, I draw an object and then show you the reference photo I used, for you to draw from. Though most of the drawings are done with pencil on paper, there are a few done with a ball point pen and a few done on an iPad using 5 different drawing apps. After 30 days you'll be able to find subjects for drawing on your own because it is not important "what" you draw or how accurate each drawing is but what's important is that you put in the time to practice drawing regularly. If you want to develop a daily drawing practice or just need 30 prompts for drawing, you should join this course. It does not matter if you are a student or a professional or a homemaker or a finance person or a fighter pilot or a school teacher. All you need to have is a desire to draw, draw and draw. Remember that quality of your drawings is directly related to quantity of your drawings. So, enroll in this class and kick start your daily drawing practice.

Welcome to How To Draw Faces Do you ever wonder why drawing faces is so hard? Seriously. We look at them every day. We look at our own, and others. So why is it so hard to draw them? Well, it’s precisely that reason! We see so many faces every day, and as a species, we’ve developed uncanny skills in differentiating the minute differences in people’s appearances. So don’t feel bad, just realize it’ll take a bit of extra effort on your part as an artist to really master this topic. This course is designed to guide you through every step in constructing a face. From the structure, to the details, we’ll go over every step together. I’ll even show you some tips on how to simplify the process. The attached PDF is designed to be used in conjunction with the video series in this course. Print it out, or draw on it digitally, while listening to the videos. I’ve plotted out the units in the following order, but you’re welcome to go back and revisit them as often as you like. Warm Up Structure Eyes Eye Brows Nose Mouth Lips Ears Variations Hair Emotions Wrap Up Best of luck, and I hope you enjoy this journey with me. - Ed Foychuk

In my 30+ Years of Teaching Experience I have found that Pastel Pencils is the by far the easiest art medium to pick up and learn. In this course you will learn how to use a range of pastel pencils to create 4 stunning pictures! Two Parrots Kingfisher Robin in Snow Eagle Owl We believe these three subjects are a great combination of learning techniques for drawing birds. You will learn how to draw a variety of different subjects - their feathers features, backgrounds, settings and lots more. There are elements in all 4 pictures that we feel a student will learn so much from and be able to apply the same techniques to their own work. For all pictures I use Sand Coloured Fabriano Ingres Paper, this is a great neutral tone and works so well for all kinds of subjects. It is ideal for someone fairly new to pastel pencil work as you can erase so easily on the paper. I also use Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils and refer to these throughout the course. You can of course use any materials that you wish to use. I would recommend this course for intermediate level artists . Perhaps you have tried my free courses and want to venture into the next level up or have already used Pastel Pencils before. If you are just starting out with pastel pencils let me not discourage you from giving this subject a go, you will certainly learn a lot from the lessons and hopefully enjoy it as you do! We provide you with an outline drawing for each subject so that you do not have to draw free hand . Trace this through to your paper or print it straight out using your printer. We walk you through step by step with Video instruction how to draw each stage. You'll learn techniques behind drawing birds and create pictures you can be proud of. We have broken the course down into bitesize chunks that you can follow and return to with ease. If you love drawing and want to discover easy techniques to create stunning art that you can transfer to your own pictures then this course is for you.
